Walter passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, after an extended battle with cancer. Born in Eufalla, Ala., he was a son of Sally Thelma Bentley and the late William Alfred Wilson. He was a crane operator and boilermaker for 25 years having worked in construction.

Walter also known as Dog, was longtime and faithful member of Dixie Thunder Aiken and ABATE of South Carolina. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.
