Reasons To Join
OurDixieThunder-Aiken chapter of ABATE of South Carolinaactively monitors motorcycle-related legislation on local, state, andfederal levels. We encourage all members to become politicallyinvolved, to effect positive legislation towards maintaining freedom ofchoice.
We are dedicated to the premise that the individual is bestsuited to decide the type of motorcycle to ride, type of safety gear tobe worn, and personal lifestyle so long as we do not harm others.
We work to educate the general public about motorcycles, andthe responsibilities while sharing the road with motorcycles, through avariety of motorcycle-awareness events throughout the year.
We assist in the sponsorship of fund-raisers for operatingexpenses and charitable causes. These events provide opportunities forpeople to join together, have a good time, and share experiences andideas for the betterment of motorcyclists in South Carolina.
Weare the only Aiken County motorcyclists organizationdevoted to Freedom of the Road and Liberty for all motorcyclists.
